    Kegel Exercises (also called pelvic floor exercises) help strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. These muscles support your pelvic organs, such as your bladder, bowels, and vagina. They keep your organs in place and also aid in bodily functions such as urination, defecation, and sexual intercourse. Kegel exercises involve contracting and then relaxing your pelvic floor muscles to strengthen them.
