    Fenbendazole is a commonly used deworming medicine for dogs. It is prescribed to treat intestinal parasites like roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and certain protozoal infections. Many pet owners wonder whether giving fenbendazole can affect a dog’s behavior. Fenbendazole does not directly change a dog’s behavior. It works in the gut to eliminate parasites and does not act on the brain or nervous system.
    Fenbendazole is generally safe and well-tolerated in dogs. It does not alter behavior directly. Any short-term changes are usually mild and related to the body adjusting or parasites being eliminated.
